One of my pictures from Srinagar, Indian Kashmir, has just come out on the cover of the UK version (right) of Basharat Peer's book Curfewed Night. Some months ago the same picture was used on the cover of the US edition (left).
While it is the same picture, the two covers are somewhat different. And they certainly differ from my original. I am not used to seeing my images manipulated like this, but if they keep ending up on book covers I don't mind. In fact I quite like the UK book cover a lot. If this were to happen in a (photo)journalistic context, obviously it would be a different story.
