Struggling to get pictures that show the scale of one of the world's largest football tournaments, Norway Cup, I decided to take to the air today. From the right seat in Cessna it was much easier to appreciate the scale of the event. From about 1200 feet the football fields lined up nicely under the right wing, not unlike what I was hoping for. Well, almost.
In the viewfinder I was trying to frame the pictures as best as I could, but there wasn't really time to see the details in the pictures. So imagine my disappointment to see half the pictures showing idle players! As it happened we passed over the fields exactly when games were at half time...with players standing around, talking or just kicking a ball in a circle. Fortunately there was the other half of pictures! To see more pictures from Norway Cup, ground level and aerial photos, have a look at THIS gallery.
